Why can’t I get access to cPanel and FTP?
Why there is no cPanel:
We run custom cloud servers that don’t have cPanel installed. Only because of these custom servers can we offer autopilot maintenance and bulletproof security. We think that this is worth it and most of our users find other ways to edit blogs without cPanel.
Let us know what you’d like to achieve and we’ll find a way to do it.
Why there is no FTP:
There is no FTP access to blogs. FTP is a big security risk for the system and we found that most things can be done without actual FTP access.
If you’d like to edit themes,
we recommend creating a child theme. If you need to add verification codes to a blog, there are
many plugins that can do that. The same goes for
editing .htaccess and blocking spiders.
For everything else,
contact us and we’ll find a solution that works for you.
How can I do blog restore without cPanel/FTP?
If the blog is online or you have a localhost copy working, the
fastest way is to use our import plugin.
If the blog is offline, we can restore the blog’s database with a MySQL dump. However, you’ll need to manually upload everything else (media, plugins, and theme) through the WordPress control panel. The blog has to be added and working on EBN. Contact support and attach the MySQL dump.
