EBN supports automatic nameserver configuration for popular registrars. The setup takes a few minutes for each registrar but once it’s done, everything is done automatically within EBN.
Keep in mind the domain has to be registered and in your account. We do not register the domain for you.
Make sure that you first set up your registrar credentials and then add the blogs to your EBN account. Otherwise, the automatic configuration will fail.
To set up your registrar credentials, click on your username in the top right corner and select Manage Registrar Credentials. Some registrars have IP restriction, contact support for the IP to whitelist.
Click the green
Add button. Select your registrar and enter the credentials.
Below are the instructions for each registrar:
Go to https://developer.godaddy.com/keys/ where you will see “Create Key” big green button. See image 1.1 below.
Image 1.1: GoDaddy API Key Generator starting screen.
After you click “Create Key” button new window will appear which will contain API Key and API Secret (see image 1.2).
Image 1.2: GoDaddy Test API Key and Test API Secret.
This Key and Secret are for testing purposes and we can just ignore them. After we click “OK” we will see to sections of API Keys. First is named “Test” and the second is named “Production”. We want to generate production API Key and API Secret so you must click on “+” button that is marked on the image 1.3.
Image 1.3: GoDaddy Test and Production API Keys.
After you click the add (“+”) button the same window will appear as it did in the first step (see image 1.2) except that this one will contain production API Key and API Secret (see image 1.4). These are the one we want.
Image 1.4: GoDaddy production API Key and API Secret.
So copy and paste Key and Secret to EBN app (User > Manage Registrar Credentials > Add). Be careful not to mix them because else EBN won’t be able to connect to GoDaddy system and you will see “Registrar credentials are not valid” error.
When you complete generating API Key you should see a screen that is similar to the one on image 1.5.

After you log into your account click on the “API” link under “Domains” drop-down menu (see image 2.1).

Dynadot API page will show in which you will see two sections (see image 2.2). In the first section, you will be able to generate new API Key (after you enable API access) and in the second section, you will have to add our system’s IP address. Contact our support for this.

For API access at Namecheap you will need to contact their support. It is the fastest way to get the access. A regular request can last for weeks!
After you have been granted API access log into your account and click on “Profile” link (see image 3.1).
Image 3.1: Namecheap dashboard page.
You will see several sections including “Personal Info” at the top. From here you will get API Username and Username (which are the same) value that you require in EBN app when you want to add Namecheap registrar. You will find this information in the Username field. See image 3.2 for more details.

Then click on the “Tools” link which is under “Profile” main menu and then on the “MANAGE” button next to “Namecheap API Access” (see image 3.3).

On the Namecheap API Access page, you will find “API Key” which you will need when adding registrar credentials in EBN. The final step is to whitelist our system’s IP. Contact our support for the IP.
